What is mediation?
Mediation is the intervention of a dispute in order to resolve it. The mediator is a neutral third party that helps facilitate the resolution of the dispute. The mediator’s role is to assist the parties in reaching a voluntary and informed agreement.
Mediation can be used to solve a variety of legal disputes, including but not limited to, divorces, personal injury disputes, workplace disputes, and contract disputes. The use of mediation can reduce the cost of legal expenses and reduce the length of time of the litigation process. Mediation also gives the participants a choice in how the dispute is resolved.
